This stand-alone wire harness is designed to make your 1998.5 to early-2000 Cummins® 24-Valve engine start and run in any chassis by simply connecting 12V power and ground. The Cummins® engine wiring harness comes pre-wired for a SwapHelper.com Tach Helper, Cummins ECM, and OBD-II port (requires a professional scan tool to communicate). Does not work with OBD-II style tuners and gauge displays (a Dodge PCM is required for these to work).

The stand-alone engine harness includes wiring for the following:

  • Crank/cam position
  • MAP sensor
  • Intake air temp
  • Coolant temp
  • Oil pressure
  • Lift pump
  • APPS
  • VP44 pump wiring
  • Grid Heater control wires from ECM (requires original solenoids)
  • Swaphelper.com Tach Helper

Harness does not include:

  • Starting circuit wiring
  • PCM wiring (Designed to be used without PCM; Uses ECM only)
