This adapter plate pairs a 1988-1997 Ford® ZF5 manual transmission from behind a 460 (7.5L) gasoline engine to a Cummins® 12-Valve & 24-Valve engine.
Important Information
- This adapter plate utilizes a 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L or 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Power Stroke starter, which is not included.
- The best way to identify if you have a gasoline version of the ZF5 is the .5" dowels on the bellhousing. The dowel pins are also staggered, the driver's side being higher up on the bellhousing than the passenger side. The diesel version uses .375" dowel and are directly across from one another.
