OWNERSHIP RIGHTS OF CUSTOM PARTS AND INFORMATION
Intellectual property rights laws may apply to parts we offer. If we suspect anyone has violated these laws by copying our parts, we will pursue legal action to the fullest extent the law allows, which may include damages or restitution.
All returns must be authorized prior to return with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the packing slip and are subject up to a 20% restocking fee. Sorry, these fees cannot be determined until we receive and inspect the parts. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to the sender freight collect. Returns will not be authorized after 90 days of invoice. We do not accept returns of new engine mounts, or electrical parts. In addition, buyers that orders incorrect parts via the website without talking with a Sales Technician are responsible for any and all shipping costs with returning or exchanging for the correct parts
Missing Parts Claim
If you have parts missing or items that may have been damaged during shipping, please contact us within 14 days of receipt! Please understand time is of the essence when filing a claim for a missing or damaged part. You assume all responsibility for missing or damaged parts if you do not contact us within the 14-day period after receipt.
DCS offers technical support, to the original purchaser, for up to 24 months from the purchase date. If you purchased one part or a conversion kit you should have received instructions, along with this document, in your parts packages. Please let us know if you require instructions for the parts you’ve purchased. Technical support is limited to the parts that DCS sells and installation of said parts.
NON-TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY POLICY
DCS issues a limited warranty on parts that are manufactured by DCS. These parts are warrantied against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from date of purchase. Warranty coverage begins on the date the product arrives to the original purchaser. This Limited Warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is not assignable or otherwise transferable. DCS offers no warranties, either express or implied, beyond this limited warranty. Products destroyed or damaged do to abuse or abnormal use are not covered under this Limited Warranty. Final warranty determination will be at the sole discretion of DCS Management. DCS will not be responsible for: (a) actual or alleged labor, transportation or any other incidental charges such as towing, roadside assistance, loss of time, loss of income, lodging etc.; or (b) actual or alleged consequential or other damages incurred by use of any product sold by DCS.
Any vended part (parts sold by DCS but not manufactured by DCS) may have a warranty extended by the manufacturer. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to work directly with the manufacture on any warranty issues on vended parts.
Parts we offer for sale to make engine conversions possible may not be legal for sale or use in California, or other states, on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle. Buyers of these parts assume all responsibility in regard to federal and state emissions laws governing motor vehicles. Please check local and federal laws that may apply to your conversion before ordering.
