This adapter plate will mate a W56 Toyota® transmission to a 1998-2003 Volkswagen® 1.9L TDI® engine. The adapter has dowel pins for proper alignment. This utilizes the Toyota starter and changes the placement to the passenger side of the engine. Also included is a starter spacer to ensure proper starter to flywheel engagement. Does not require drilling nor balancing of the flywheel.
