This power steering pump inlet fitting replaces the pump mounted reservoir when a remote reservoir is used. This is designed to fit 2003-2007 Cummins® Common Rail 5.9L engines where the pump has a snap ring style backing plate.
This fitting and backing plate allows for use of the Ford® fluid reservoir for a more factory look and creates more space for the Cummins engine. Originally designed for use in 2003-2007 Ford® 6.0L conversions, it may be useful in a variety of Cummins Common Rail conversions.
