Our story began in 2002 in Kalispell, Montana, with a simple mission: repower Ford® trucks with proven Cummins® performance. What started as FordCummins.com quickly became one of the very first dedicated product lines for Cummins‑swap Ford vehicles, particularly for Ford 6.0L trucks. We weren’t just part of the movement — we helped build it.

We began to expand beyond Ford conversions and Cummins repowering. In 2015 we changed our name from FordCummins.com to Diesel Conversion Specialists. 

Today, from our home in Hutchinson, Minnesota, we are a family‑owned and family‑driven company. That matters to us. It means we stand behind our products, operate with integrity, and stay personally invested in the success of every customer who chooses to work with us.

With more than 20 years of hands‑on experience to every product we design, we’ve tested countless configurations, refined our products through real‑world use, and built a reputation for reliability, innovation, and support. We're consistently evaluating and improving our products, as well as testing new ideas.
