This bracket allows the use of the Ford® 7.3L, 6.0L, or 6.4L diesel alternator on 1998.5 - 2002 Dodge® Cummins® 24-Valve Engines. The brackets also work for 1992-1997 Ford 7.3L alternators as long as the alternator has an 8-rib pulley.
Some trimming may be necessary because Ford and aftermarket alternators vary in design. Ford 6.0L & 6.4L diesel trucks should use this bracket for the "check battery" light to function and provide proper current.
