This bracket allows the use of the Ford® 7.3L, 6.0L, or 6.4L diesel alternator on 1998.5-2002 Dodge® Cummins® 24-Valve Engines. The brackets also work for 1992-1997 Ford 7.3L alternators as long as the alternator has an 8-rib pulley.
Some trimming may be necessary because Ford and aftermarket alternators vary in design.
Ford 6.0L and 6.4L diesel trucks should use this bracket for the "check battery" light to function and provide proper current.
