The flexible stainless steel design allows easier installation for custom turbo orientation on non-stock exhaust manifolds. Existing hard line and rubber hose portion from original drain tube is required to complete the connection to the engine block. Even helpful on 2003-2006 Cummins® Common Rail engines, even though the stock drain can be used if it is bent slightly.
