This adapter plate mates the Toyota® R150 transmission to a Volkswagen® 1.9L ALH TDI® engines. This kit is intended to be used on R150 manual transmissions that would have been paired with the 3.4L engine 5VZ-FE. The R150 is known to have a short and a long input shaft. This kit is designed for the longer input shaft length relative to the bell housing mounting surface. Designed to be used with a Toyota starter and placement is changed to the passenger side of the engine. Does not require drilling or balancing of the flywheel.
